2023 Echo Footsteps Global Initiative - Applications Open

The Echo Foundation is pleased to announce applications are now being accepted for Echo’s 2023 Footsteps Global Initiative: UKRAINE: Calculus for Democracy. A unique experiential leadership initiative, Footsteps UKRAINE offers students an opportunity to witness first-hand the grotesque display of power perpetrated on Ukraine by Russia.

Through intensive study with The Echo Foundation, Footsteps Ambassadors will gain insight into the historical context of this war, engage with world leaders working to push back against the atrocities occurring, and discover inspiration as to how they too can support the Ukrainian people.  Following six months of study in Charlotte using the Echo curriculum, students will travel to Europe to locations impacted by Russia’s war on Ukraine such as Eastern Poland, Paris, The Hague (International Criminal Court), Brussels (NATO Headquarters), (the European Union) and more.
