The Echo Foundation presents the 21st Annual Student Dialogue with Dr. Ophelia Garmon-Brown with a discussion of Charlotte: A Tale of Two Cities on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 10:00 - 12:00 noon. Hosted by Northwest School of The Arts
On April 29, 2019, The Echo Foundation will bring together over 20 area high schools including 43 teachers to engage in a Student Dialogue with Dr. Ophelia Garmon-Brown at NW School of the Arts from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
To prepare for this event, students will be asked to study our 2019 curriculum Charlotte: A Tale of Two Cities. It was created by students for students in response to the Opportunity Task Force Report and is focused on the economic opportunity divide in Charlotte.
Our area high school students will engage in conversation with this extraordinary Charlotte leader as we discuss the economic and opportunity divide and explore possible solutions!
