Anders Bárány
Senior Curator – Nobel Museum, Stockholm
Professor of Physics at Stockholm University and Senior Curator at the Nobel Museum. He has acted as Scientific Secretary to the Nobel Committee for Physics since 1990.[1]

Recent Bio:

· Has a PhD in theoretical physics from Uppsala University
· 1973-1987 Lecturer in physics at Uppsala University
· 1988-1996 Executive editor of Physica Scripta
· Professor of physics at Stockholm University since 1997
· Secretary of the Nobel Committee for Physics since 1990
· Joined the Nobel Museum as Senior Curator in 1998[2]

Research Interests:
· Theory of atomic collisions
· Theory of quasi-molecular ion-atom collisions
· Charge transfer in slow collisions of highly charged ions with atoms
· Charge transfer in slow collisions of highly charged ions with fullerenes
· Charge transfer in slow collisions of highly charged ions with surfaces
