2022 Faculty Workshop and Curriculum Announcement

Our 2022 Faculty Workshop brought together an amazing group of teachers from high schools across the Charlotte area. During the workshop, we officially introduced our newest curriculum ECHOLOGIC: Our Planet. Our Opportunity. This introduction provides teachers with an extensive overview of the program and curriculum. In addition, teachers joined together in discussing ideas and plans for sharing the curriculum with their students in preparation for the Student Dialogue.

The 2022 Voices Against Indifference Initiative offers curricula to high school students and teachers to further their knowledge of global issues. This year we focus on the environment and global warming. ECHOLOGIC: Our Planet. Our Opportunity. is a unique curriculum that investigates the urgent issues that threaten our planet. It explores the impact of climate change, environmental racism, corporate and governmental challenges, public responsibility, the work of the UNC Center for Galapagos Studies, and more. It inspires positive action for our planet.
